EXTENDING DEEPEST CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF NANCY J. ENRIGHT | |

1 | WHEREAS, It is with sadness that this Senate has learned of the passing of Nancy J. |
2 | Enright, beloved wife of Edward Enright; and |
3 | WHEREAS, Mrs. Enright grew up in the City of Woonsocket, the daughter of the late |
4 | Oscar and Charlotte Gignac, and the youngest of seven children including Lorraine Lavoie, and |
5 | the late Connie Bourk, Claire Parenteau, Sonny Gignac, Carol Gignac and Patricia Washington. |
6 | She is survived by her sister-in-law, Mary Jane Gignac, and many nieces and nephews; and |
7 | WHEREAS, A woman of great faith, Mrs. Enright created a warm and welcoming home |
8 | for her nine children, Ronnie Deziel and his wife, Fatima, Debra Hunt and her husband, our |
9 | friend and colleague the Honorable Stephen Casey, Ronna Deziel, Bruce Deziel and his wife, |
10 | Colleen, Charla Warden and her husband, Robert, Dean Deziel and his wife, Julie, Page |
11 | Anderson and her husband, Jeff, and her two stepdaughters, Karen Santos and Cheryl Enright; |
12 | and |
13 | WHEREAS, Mrs. Enright was the kind of grandmother every child needs and deserves. |
14 | She felt blessed with her seventeen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren who were the |
15 | light of her life; and |
16 | WHEREAS, In addition to spending time with her beloved family and many friends, Mrs. |
17 | Enright had a passion for music and loved singing and dancing, as well as camping with the |
18 | Rhody Rovers, card parties, bowling in the local leagues, church bingo, and riding on |
19 | motorcycles and traveling; and |
20 | WHEREAS, Nancy Enright was a loving, gracious, and generous woman whose heartfelt |

1 | compassion for those she knew and loved is her greatest legacy, and she is dearly missed; now, |
2 | therefore be it |
3 | RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island hereby expresses deepest |
4 | sympathy on the passing of Nancy J. Enright; and be it further |
5 | RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to |
6 | transmit duly certified copies of this resolution to Edward Enright, Ronnie Deziel and Family, |
7 | Debra Hunt and Family, Ronna Deziel, Bruce Deziel and Family, Charla Warden and Family, |
8 | Dean Deziel and Family, Page Anderson and Family, Karen Santos, and Cheryl Enright. |
