It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Chapter 42-4 of the General Laws entitled "State Emblems" is hereby |
2 | amended by adding thereto the following section: |
3 | 42-4-23. State fossil. |
4 | The trilobite, a fossilized marine animal commonly found in Rhode Island, is hereby |
5 | designated the state fossil. |
6 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
