AMENDING THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE SPECIAL LEGISLATIVE COMMISSION TO

STUDY THE LOW AND MODERATE INCOME HOUSING ACT

     RESOLVED, That the composition of the special legislative commission created by

resolution No. 140 and passed by the House of Representatives at its January session, A.D. 2021,

3

and approved March 25, 2021, entitled "House Resolution Creating a Special Legislative

4

Commission to Study the Low and Moderate Income Housing Act" and as extended by resolution

5

No. 066 and passed by the House of Representatives at its January session, A.D. 2022, and

6

approved January 25, 2022, entitled "House Resolution Extending the Reporting and Expiration

7

Dates of the Special Legislative Commission to Study the Low and Moderate Income Housing

8

Act" be and the same is hereby amended by changing the membership from seventeen (17)

9

members to nineteen (19) members by adding one member who shall be the Secretary of

10

Housing, or designee; and one member who shall be the President and CEO of United Way of

11

Rhode Island, or designee.

BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL

H O U S E   R E S O L U T I O N

AMENDING THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE SPECIAL LEGISLATIVE COMMISSION TO

     This resolution would amend the membership of said commission by increasing the

number of members from seventeen (17) to nineteen (19) members by adding the Secretary of

3

Housing, or designee; and the President and CEO of United Way of Rhode Island, or designee.
