J O I N T   R E S O L U T I O N

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION OF $400,000 FOR FAMILY SERVICE OF RHODE

ISLAND TO OPERATE AND EXPAND THE GO TEAM RESPONSE PROGRAM

     RESOLVED, There is hereby appropriated, out of any money in the treasury not

otherwise appropriated for the fiscal year 2021-2022, an additional sum of four hundred thousand

dollars ($400,000) to Family Service of Rhode Island, Inc., to continue to operate, and expand the

GO Team Response Program in which social service professionals partner with police and other

agencies to offer immediate, on-scene: crisis intervention, trauma treatment, language support,

and triage for on-going care and assistance to victims and their families. The state controller is

hereby authorized and directed to draw orders upon the general treasurer for the payment of said

sum, or so much thereof as may be from time to time required, upon receipt of properly

authenticated vouchers.
