RELATING TO FISH AND WILDLIFE - ARTIFICIAL PROPAGATION OF GAME | |

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Chapter 20-17 of the General Laws entitled "Artificial Propagation of Game" |
2 | is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section: |
3 | 20-17-12. Hunting captive mammals prohibited. |
4 | Notwithstanding the provisions of ยงยง 20-17-1 and 20-17-9, and any other law to the |
5 | contrary, no person shall hunt or attempt to hunt any mammal held in captivity for amusement or |
6 | sport; or possess, import, breed, or sell any mammal for use in captive hunting for amusement or |
7 | sport. |
8 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
