It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Chapter 42-16.1 of the General Laws entitled "Department of Labor and |
2 | Training" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section: |
3 | 42-16.1-5.1. Labor contract registration training. |
4 | The department of labor and training shall furnish labor contract negotiations training to |
5 | municipalities and local school committees to provide them with the experience and skills |
6 | necessary to effectively promote and protect their interests in labor negotiations. |
7 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
