	A N A C T
	RELATING TO JEWISH SENIORS AGENCY OF RHODE ISLAND

	It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:
1	SECTION 1. Jewish Seniors Agency of Rhode Island, a Rhode Island not-for-profit
2	corporation formerly known as and presently doing business as "Jewish Home for the Aged of
3	Rhode Island", which corporation was the subject of acts passed at the January session, 1948 and
4	at the January session, 1952 increasing the authorized holdings of real and personal property of
5	said corporation, is hereby authorized to take, hold, transmit and convey real and personal estate to
6	an amount not exceeding two million dollars ($2,000,000) which shall be and remain forever
7	exempt from taxation.
8	SEC. 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.

	BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL

1	This act would increase the authorized holdings of Jewish Seniors Agency of Rhode Island
2	to two million dollars ($2,000,000) and exempt the same from taxation.
3	This act would take effect upon passage.
