H O U S E   R E S O L U T I O N

EXTENDING DEEPEST CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF VINCENT J. COLELLO,

JR.

     WHEREAS, It is with great sadness that this House has learned of the passing of Vincent

J. Colello, Jr. Affectionately known by all as "Vinny", he was the beloved husband of Natalie

Colello for fifty-three years and the father of Arthur Colello and his wife, Gail, Natalie Marano

and her husband, Dr. Albert, our dear friend and colleague Kathleen Morgan and husband,

Thomas, and Lisa Haskell; and

     WHEREAS, Born in the City of Providence, Mr. Colello was a son of the late Vincent

James, Sr. and Rosina Colello and the brother of William Colello; and

     WHEREAS, In addition to his wife and children, Mr. Colello was the very proud

grandfather of fourteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, and was an avid Yankees fan;

and

     WHEREAS, For more than twenty years, Mr. Colello had been employed as an

accountant for Rhode Island College, and later retired from Moses Brown School; and

     WHEREAS, Described by his family and friends as a gentle soul with a great smile,

Vinny Colello had a wonderful life and he will be dearly missed; now, therefore be it

     RESOLVED, That this House of Representatives of the State of Rhode Island hereby

extends its sincere condolences on the passing of Vincent J. Colello, Jr.; and be it further

     RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to

transmit duly certified copies of this resolution to Mrs. Natalie Colello and Family, and Kathleen

Morgan and Family.
