EXTENDING THE REPORTING AND EXPIRATION DATES OF THE SPECIAL

LEGISLATIVE COMMISSION TO CONDUCT A COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW AND MAKE

RECOMMENDATIONS REGARDING THE APPROPRIATE STATE AGENCY TO HOUSE

     RESOLVED, That the special legislative commission created by resolution No. 302

passed by Senate at its January session, A.D. 2018, and approved June 12, 2018, entitled "Senate

3

Resolution Creating a Special Legislative Commission To Conduct a Comprehensive Review and

4

Make Recommendations Regarding the Appropriate State Agency to House Adult Education" is

5

hereby authorized to continue its study and make a report to the Senate on or before March 3,

6

2020, and said commission shall expire on June 3, 2020; and be it further

7

     RESOLVED, That the time for reporting authorized by resolution No. 302 passed by the

8

Senate at its January session, A.D. 2018, and approved June 12, 2018, be and the same is hereby

9

rescinded.

     This resolution would extend the reporting and expiration dates of the special legislative

2

commission to conduct a comprehensive review and make recommendations regarding the

3

appropriate state agency to house adult education from March 1, 2019, to March 3, 2020, and said

4

commission would expire on June 3, 2020.
