EXPRESSING CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF RICHARD A. ANDREWS

     WHEREAS, Richard A. Andrews passed away on March 21, 2019. He was the beloved

husband of the late Carole Andrews, and was a lifelong resident of the Town of Lincoln; and

     WHEREAS, Born in Central Falls, Mr. Andrews was the son of the late John and Flora

Andrews. He attended Central Falls High School before he enlisted in the United States Air

Force. He was a hardworking family man who was employed as a truck driver and a machinist

before his retirement; and

      WHEREAS, Mr. Andrews was a passionate sports enthusiast his entire life and was a

volunteer coach for the Lincoln Little League for more than twenty years. He was also a member

of several bowling leagues, loved to play cards and golf with his friends, and was a big NASCAR

fan. In addition, he was a member of the Greystone Social Club and the Smithfield Lodge of Elks

# 2359; and

     WHEREAS, Mr. Andrews leaves behind his children, Timothy Andrew, Mark Andrew,

and Kelly Labossiere and her husband, Christopher. He is also survived by his sister, Marjorie

Campbell, his grandchildren Jonathan and Alicia Andrew, and Alexa and Charlotte Labossiere,

his great-granddaughter Skye Andrew, and several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the

late Kyle Andrews, and the brother of the late Gordon, Howard, Kenneth, Donald, and David

Andrews, and Bonnie Laliberte; now, therefore be it

     RESOLVED, That this House of Representatives of the State of Rhode Island and

Providence Plantations hereby expresses its condolences on the passing of Richard A. Andrews;

and be it further

     RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to

transmit duly certified copies of this resolution to Timothy Andrew, Mark Andrew, Kelly

Labossiere, and Marjorie Campbell.
