HONORING ROBERT A. NARDOLILLO, III, ON HIS SERVICE TO THE PEOPLE OF THE

STATE OF RHODE ISLAND

     WHEREAS, The Rhode Island House of Representatives will be losing a valued member

with the retirement of Representative Robert A. Nardolillo, III; and

     WHEREAS, Upon graduation from La Salle Military Academy, Representative

Nardolillo attended Arapahoe Community College, earning his Associate of Arts degree in

Applied Sciences. He is employed as a Funeral Director for Nardolillo Funeral Home in

Cranston; and

     WHEREAS, Winning his first foray into politics, Representative Nardolillo was elected

to the Rhode Island House of Representatives on November 4th of 2014, representing District 28

which encompasses neighborhoods in the Town of Coventry; and

     WHEREAS, Representative Nardolillo is a valued member of the House Committee on

Oversight and the House Committee on Environment and Natural Resources; and

     WHEREAS, As an advocate for animal welfare, Representative Nardolillo has

cosponsored legislation to protect animals from extreme weather and to provide better protections

for abused animals. He has also fought for seat belts on school buses and increased counseling for

students. In addition, annually, he has sponsored a Bow Ties Against Bullying event at the State

House, and was the recipient of the Award for Conservative Achievement from the American

Conservative Union for his efforts during the 2017 legislative session; and

     WHEREAS, In addition to his long hours at the State House and family business,

Representative Nardolillo is the husband of Jacqueline Nardolillo and together they are raising

their two children, Rocco and Milania; and

     WHEREAS, The Honorable Robert Nardolillo's devotion to the citizens of Coventry and

the Ocean State have earned him our unqualified admiration and respect, and he will assuredly be

missed; now, therefore be it

     RESOLVED, That this House of Representatives of the State of Rhode Island and

Providence Plantations hereby honors Representative Robert A. Nardolillo, III, for his dedicated

service to the people of Coventry and the state; and be it further

     RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to

transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to the Honorable Robert A. Nardolillo, III.
