It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. The town council of the town of Scituate may propose to the electors of the |
2 | town the text of a proposed town charter, at the general election to be held on November 6, 2018, |
3 | and if the electors shall approve the proposed town charter at the general election by a majority of |
4 | those voting on the same, it shall take effect upon subsequent ratification by the general assembly |
5 | at its January, 2019 session. |
6 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
