It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Chapter 45-13 of the General Laws entitled "State Aid" is hereby amended |
2 | by adding thereto the following section: |
3 | 45-13-15. Municipal transfer station in Pawtucket. |
4 | (a) For the fiscal year ending June 30, 2019, four million dollars ($4,000,000) shall be |
5 | appropriated to the city of Pawtucket to clean and cap the municipal transfer station located at |
6 | 240 Grotto Avenue in Pawtucket. |
7 | (b) For the fiscal year ending June 30, 2019, one million dollars ($1,000,000) shall be |
8 | appropriated to the city of Pawtucket to market the property owned by the city located at 240 |
9 | Grotto Avenue for installation of a renewable energy facility or facilities. |
10 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
