EXPRESSING CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF ALFRED MARCIANO

     WHEREAS, Mr. Alfred Marciano, a resident of Warwick, passed away on March 9,

2

2018, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary Angelina

3

Marciano; and

4

     WHEREAS, Mr. Marciano was born on January 23, 1923, the son of the late Rafael and

5

Alessandra Marciano. He was a hard-working man and was employed for thirty years as a

6

precision machinist for Federal Products/Easterline Corp. He was a devoted family man and a

7

cherished friend to many and will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him; and

8

     WHEREAS, Mr. Marciano leaves behind his two sons, Alfred T. Marciano, CPA, of

9

Warwick, and the Reverend Robert L. Marciano, KHS, Pastor of St. Kevin Church and St.

10

Benedict Church in Warwick. Mr. Marciano is also survived by his daughter-in-law, Nancy J.

11

Marciano, his grandchildren Matthew J, Marciano and his wife, Courtney C. Marciano, Kathryn

12

A. Marciano and her husband, Dr. Christopher D. Van Booven, and Mary Marciano, and his

13

great-grandchildren, Roma J. Spencer, and Julian R. Marciano. He is also survived by his brother

14

Orlando L. Marciano, and many nieces and nephews and their children. He was the brother of the

15

late Georgina Marciano, his twin sister, Carlo Marciano, and Carmela Capraro. Additionally, Mr.

16

Marciano leaves behind the many wonderful people working for Brentwood Nursing and

17

Rehabilitation Center who provided devoted service and care during his final days, and the

18

Palliative and Hospice Care Teams of the VNA of Care New England; now, therefore be it

19

     RESOLVED, That this House of Representatives of the State of Rhode Island and

20

Providence Plantations hereby expresses its condolences to the Marciano Family on the passing

of Mr. Alfred Marciano; and be it further

2

     RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to

3

transmit duly certified copies of this resolution to Mr. Alfred T. Marciano, CPA, and the

4

Reverend Robert L. Marciano, KHS.
