It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Chapter 5-19.1 of the General Laws entitled "Pharmacies" is hereby |
2 | amended by adding thereto the following section: |
3 | 5-19.1-33. Drug discount cards. |
4 | Any in-state or nonresident pharmacy licensed to do business in the state shall accept any |
5 | manufacturer's drug discount card, and pass said discount to the consumer, without requiring the |
6 | consumer to seek reimbursement from the drug manufacturer directly. |
7 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
