EXPRESSING DEEPEST SYMPATHY ON THE PASSING OF MARY ANN FERRUCCIO-

GALLUCCI

     WHEREAS, It is with great sadness that this House has learned of the passing of Mary

2

Ann Ferruccio-Gallucci, long-time resident of the City of Warwick, and the beloved wife of the

3

Honorable Joseph E. Gallucci and the late John Ferruccio; and

4

     WHEREAS, Mary Ann was the daughter of the late Antonio and Mary Ionata. In her

5

youth, she had been elected "Miss High School of Rhode Island" and was a devoted parishioner

6

of Sacred Heart Parish for many years; and

7

     WHEREAS, Mary Ann doted on her family, sons Michael A. Ferruccio RISP and his

8

wife, Jennifer, Frank J. Gallucci and his wife, Ruth, and Joseph M. Gallucci PPD and his wife,

9

Rosamaria. She was especially proud of her grandchildren Francesca, Maria, Joanna and Joe; and

10

     WHEREAS, Exceptional thoughtfulness and consideration also produced warm and

11

supportive relationships with her in-laws Raymond and Carol Gallucci, her extended family, and

12

her many dear friends and neighbors. She was also the very loving caretaker and companion to

13

her kittens Micki, Sami and the late Mikki; and

14

     WHEREAS, In addition to making a warm and wonderful home for her family, Mary

15

Ann was a licensed hairdresser and graduate of Joann Academy of Hairdressing. Her last

16

position before retiring was at Stylearama in Warwick; and

17

     WHEREAS, There is no doubt that Mary Ann Ferruccio-Gallucci, a loving wife, mother

18

and grandmother, left an indelible mark on the lives of those she knew and loved, and she will be

19

dearly missed and forever remembered; now, therefore be it

     RESOLVED, That this House of Representatives of the State of Rhode Island and

2

Providence Plantations hereby expresses our deepest sympathies to the Ferruccio and Gallucci

3

Families on the passing of Mary Ann Ferruccio-Gallucci; and be it further

4

     RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to

5

transmit duly certified copies of this resolution to the Honorable Joseph E. Gallucci and Family.
