It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Chapter 35-3 of the General Laws entitled "State Budget" is hereby |
2 | amended by adding thereto the following section: |
3 | 35-3-28. Transfer of funds from energy efficiency programs. |
4 | A proposed transfer of funds from any public utilities commission approved energy |
5 | efficiency and/or conservation plan to the general fund, or for any other purpose, shall require a |
6 | two-thirds (2/3) affirmative vote by both the house of representatives and senate. |
7 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
