It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Chapter 16-7 of the General Laws entitled "Foundation Level School |
2 | Support [See Title 16 Chapter 97 - The Rhode Island Board Of Education Act]" is hereby |
3 | amended by adding thereto the following section: |
4 | 16-7-50. Bristol - Warren regional school district -- Allocation of funds. -- |
5 | Notwithstanding any provisions of this title or other law or regulation to the contrary, the |
6 | expenses for the education of students in the Bristol – Warren regional school district, shall be |
7 | allocated using the same process used by the Rhode Island department of education in |
8 | determining funding for regional districts, excluding Chariho. |
9 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
