It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Chapter 4-1 of the General Laws entitled "Cruelty to Animals" is hereby |
2 | amended by adding thereto the following section: |
3 | 4-1-43. Care of domesticated animals. – No city or town shall enact any rule, |
4 | regulation, or ordinance that would prohibit any individual or organization from providing food |
5 | or shelter to any domesticated animal. |
6 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
