RELATING TO GENERAL ASSEMBLY - ORGANIZATION OF GENERAL ASSEMBLY | |

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Chapter 22-3 of the General Laws entitled "Organization of General |
2 | Assembly" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section: |
3 | 22-3-18.1. Hyperlink of voting record. – In connection with the receiving and recording |
4 | of the vote of members of the general assembly pursuant to the rules of the senate and the house |
5 | of representatives, the joint committee on legislative services shall provide, on the general |
6 | assembly website, a hyperlink with respect to each bill, in order to enable the public to |
7 | immediately access the casting and recording of votes of the members of the general assembly. |
8 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
