It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Chapter 16-88 of the General Laws entitled "Rhode Island After School and |
2 | Summer Learning Program Act" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section: |
3 | 16-88-5. Summer school charges and fees. – The parent or guardian of a student |
4 | requiring the completion of a summer school course or courses to fulfill high school graduation |
5 | requirements shall not be charged a fee of any kind for the student's attendance at summer school. |
6 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
