It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Title 39 of the General Laws entitled "PUBLIC UTILITIES AND |
2 | CARRIERS" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following chapter: |
3 | CHAPTER 1.3 |
4 | TERMINATION OF WATER SERVICE |
5 | 39-1.3-1. Termination of water service during certain months. -- No public utility |
6 | which distributes water service shall terminate service to any household between January 1, and |
7 | March 31 of each and every year. |
8 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
