LEGISLATIVE COMMISSION TO STUDY RHODE ISLAND'S MINIMUM PRICING

     RESOLVED, That a special legislative commission created by resolution No. 386 passed

by the General Assembly at its January session, A.D. 2012, and approved June 6, 2012, entitled

“Joint Resolution Creating a Special Legislative Commission to Study Rhode Island’s Minimum

Pricing Statutes” is hereby reinstated and the same members are hereby reappointed, and it is

authorized to continue its study and make a report to the General Assembly on or before January

1-6

31, 2014, and said commission shall expire on February 28, 2014; and be it further

1-7

     RESOLVED, That the time for reporting and the date of expiration authorized by

1-8

resolution No. 386 and passed by the General Assembly at its January session, A.D. 2012, and

1-9

approved June 6, 2012, be and the same is hereby rescinded.

     This resolution would reinstate and extend the reporting and expiration dates of the

special legislative commission to study Rhode Island’s Minimum Pricing Statutes from January

17, 2013, to January 31, 2014, and said commission would expire on February 28, 2014.
