RELATING TO SOLEMNIZATION OF MARRIAGES

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

     SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, The

Honorable Michael H. Crepeau of North Smithfield, Rhode Island, may join Jennifer L. Jillson

and Michael Engels in marriage within the City of Newport, Rhode Island, on or about July 5,

2013.  The Honorable Michael H. Crepeau is hereby authorized and empowered to join the

1-5

foregoing persons in marriage pursuant to and in accordance with chapter 15-3 of the general

1-6

laws, entitled "Solemnization of Marriages."

     SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
