     RESOLVED, That the special legislative commission created by resolution No. 430

passed by the senate at its January session, A.D. 2011 and by resolution No. 434 passed by the

house at its January session, A.D. 2011, both approved July 12, 2011, entitled “Joint resolution

creating a special legislative commission to study the public funded election system in the state of

1-5

Rhode Island” is hereby authorized to continue its study and make a report to the general

1-6

assembly on or before December 31, 2012 and said commission shall expire on February 28,

1-7

2013; and be it further

     RESOLVED, That the times for reporting and expiration authorized by resolution No.

1-9

430 passed by the senate at its January session, A.D. 2011 and by resolution No. 434 passed by

1-10

the house at its January session, A.D. 2011, both approved July 12, 2011, be and the same are

1-11

hereby rescinded.

     This resolution would extend the reporting and expiration dates of the “Special legislative
