REINSTATING THE LIFE OF AND EXTENDING THE REPORTING AND EXPIRATION

DATES OF THE SPECIAL LEGISLATIVE COMMISSION TO STUDY THE PURCHASE

AND USE OF TEXTBOOKS IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS

     RESOLVED, That the special legislative commission created by resolution No. 375

passed by the General Assembly at its January session, A.D. 2010 and approved June 25, 2010,

entitled “Special Legislative Commission to Study the Purchase and Use of Textbooks in Public

Schools”, and extended by resolution No. 415 signed by the Governor on June 29, 2011, is hereby

reinstated and the same members are hereby reappointed, and it is authorized to continue its study

1-6

and make such further report or reports to the General Assembly as it deems advisable on or

1-7

before December 31, 2014 and said commission shall expire on December 31, 2014; and be it

1-8

further

     RESOLVED, That the time for reporting and date of expiration authorized by resolution

1-10

No. 415, passed by the General Assembly at its January session, A.D. 2011 be and the same is

1-11

hereby rescinded.
