WHEREAS, Earning an Eagle Scout badge is the pinnacle of achievement within the Boy

Scouts of America. It is an exceptional distinction achieved by fewer than five percent of all the

1-3

young men who enter scouting; and

1-4

WHEREAS, Robert Carlson is a remarkable young man worthy of this prestigious

1-5

achievement and his accomplishments are truly deserving of our recognition; and

1-6

WHEREAS, Robert’s scouting journey culminated on February 28, 2011, when he

1-7

earned the rank of Eagle. During his journey, he amassed special awards, including Order of the

Arrow, and spent a week at White Stag Leadership Training. He also participated in the Maine
